125 Year Kit & Badge Revealed

By Billy Wood

'Evolution is the secret for the next step'

Eastbourne United AFC today exclusively revealed with the Eastbourne Herald Newspaper the brand new kit design for 2019-20 season which will celebrate 125 years of the club's existence.

Founded in 1894 as the 1st Sussex Royal Engineers FC, the club will honour the history by reverting to the Red/Blue stripes originally worn by the team for the 2019-20 season.

The club also will feature a brand new design for the badge. Bringing the design into the modern day it incorporates elements of the 2003 merger badge. The club badge will be both in Shield and Circle formats based on the commercial use.

Chairman Billy Wood said "With any business it's vital your branding is on point, identifiable and relatable to people who may come across you for the very first time. Many fear change, when I became Chairman the long term goal was to compete as the biggest club in this town and without moving forward we cannot do that. Evolution is the secret for the next step and this is another piece of the puzzle for us."

Our Manager Aaron Hopkinson added "What an exciting time to be a United fan or even yet what an exciting time to give this club a chance if you live locally. The Chairman is very supportive and understands you cannot stand still, these changes are such a positive step for this club as it catches up both on and off the pitch locally and across Sussex."

The Away Kit for 2019-20 season will be the very same colours of the typical White/Black home kit and will also have a unique design for it.

The new home kit is a one off design bespoke for the football club and you the fan for just £10 can have your name listed on the design. Replica Shirts can also be pre-ordered for just £29.99.
