United Aim Myall High

By Dean Allchin

Former professional Stuart Myall signs for EUAFC

Eastbourne United AFC Manager Paul Daubeney has completed the signing of experienced defender Stuart Myall.

Myall was born in Eastbourne and joined Brighton & Hove Albion's school of excellence at the age of 11 and made almost 100 appearances for the Seagulls following his debut in April 1993 against West Bromwich Albion
On his departure from Brighton, Myall arrived at Hastings Town (now United) following a fruitless spell at Brentford and went on to make over 200 appearances at The Pilot Field.
Spells at Folkestone Invicta, Eastbourne Borough and Horsham followed, with Myall part of the Horsham squad that hosted Swansea City in the FA Cup Second Round in 2007

Paul Daubeney is pleased to have Myall on board at The Oval “The signing of Stuart adds another dimension to our squad and I’m sure he will have a positive impact on the lads in the time he is with us. He is an experienced guy who has the hunger to win – you just have to look at who he has played for during his career to see he is a driven individual who wants to win”

Myall will go straight into the squad for Saturday's home fixture against Seaford Town at The Oval, of which a preview can be viewed HERE
