Eastbourne United AFC are out of the Sussex Senior Cup after a 3-0 defeat at Broadbridge Heath
All the goals came in the opening 45 minutes, leaving United a huge mountain to climb to try and salvage anything from the fixture.
But unlike the fixture against Littlehampton Town at the weekend, United couldn't find a way back into the fixture despite an improved second half performance.
There were two changes to the XI that started the previous game, with Ash Jarvis and Charlie Playford coming in to the side.
The opening goal came from Heath's Scott Weller as he headed home from close range following a corner.
The lead was doubled less than three minutes later as Devon Fender slotted past Phil Hawkins, with Fender all but finishing the off the game just before half time with his second goal of the game.
United made a double sub at half time as Playford and Scott Taylor were replaced by Kane Penn and Joel Kalambayi.
The second half was an improved effort from United as they had the better openings and possession of the ball, but failed to fully test the home goal and United exited their final cup competition of the season
