The draw for the 32 games of the Isuzu FA Vase was made today, Monday 13th, and it proved to be lucky 13 for United as we bagged a home draw. On Saturday 2nd December, we will be playing Holmesdale FC from the SCEFL, home of Bearsted and VCD Athletic, for a place in the 4th Round.
Holmesdale have had an indifference start to the season, having scored 15 points from 12 games, but of course we take nothing at all for granted, they have reached this stage the same as we have.
Before all that of course we take on Horsham YMCA tomorrow (Tuesday)evening in the SCFL, ourselves needing to get a few wins together to climb the table, as we are falling behind on the number of games in hand!
On Saturday we are also in League action again as we take on Haywards Heath Town at Banbury Park, ahead of returning there again the following Tuesday for our RUR Cup Quarter Final!
