Russ Tanner, Mike Gardner, Peter Cooper and Wes Tate came back into the side that were defeated last time out at Lancing.
United could have been ahead inside the opening ten minutes as the energetic Max Taylor broke in the centre of the pitch before rounding visiting ‘keeper James Fernandes, but Taylor’s effort was cleared by Dan Heward.
Barney Boutwood saw an effort deflected wide as Arundel looked to take advantage of having the wind behind them in the first half, with Adam Bibb also testing Russ Tanner with an effort from distance.
Taylor was an integral part of United’s attacking intent and he was denied again by Fernandes as the ‘keeper was quick off of his line to deny Taylor outside of the area.
Fernandes was again the saviour for Arundel as the half drew on, with Taylor being denied by the feet of the Arundel stopper.
The Arundel duo of Boutwood and Scott Tipper, who have hit 29 league goals between them this season, combined on the stroke of half time but Tanner was equal to Boutwoods effort.
With the wind behind United’s back in the second half, Matt Geard came inches away from scoring direct from a corner, but Fernandes was on hand to tip over the bar.
A perfectly timed through ball from the mercurial Tate found Cooper through on goal, but the returning frontman could only lift his effort over the bar under pressure from the recovering defence.
Taylor will be glad to see the back off Fernandes, as the Arundel ‘keeper was again in the right place at the right time to deny the lively winger on his home debut.
With fifteen minutes remaining, Fernandes was the centre of attention after a lofted ball from Nathan Cole zipped off the surface and the onrushing ‘keeper handled outside of his area under pressure from Tate and received a yellow card for his troubles.
From the resulting free-kick, Geard’s effort was comfortably gathered.
Tanner was a spectator for much of the second half, but was alert to deny Tipper from the edge of the area before Dan Pollard made a superb last ditch tackle to thwart a dangerous Arundel attack.
Brad Lewis and Jason Taylor both came on as late substitutes for United, but were unable to make a telling impact as United had to settle for a share of the spoils and a fourth home clean sheet in succession
