Bunn and Baitup See Off YMCA

Eastbourne United AFC have returned to winning ways with an impressive 2-0 victory over Horsham YMCA at The Oval

Camara gathered the ball on the right wing and produced an enticing low cross that was only cleared as far as Bunn who duly struck his 5th goal of the season
Dave Smart struck a yard over the crossbar five minutes later, before YMCA hit the crossbar as Phil Johnson unleashed an effort from outside of the area.
Luke Donaldson broke out from inside the YM half, sweeping past two men before feeding Brown, who also beat his marker and laid Johnson, but the forward’s thumping strike from just outside the penalty area came cannoning back off the crossbar.
Nick Sullivan also went close for the visitors, but his low effort was sliced wide of the far post without troubling United ‘keeper James Broadbent.
United doubled their lead ten minutes into the second half as YMCA goalkeeper Mark Fox fumbled a high cross, with Liam Baitup
on hand to rifle home from close range
James Broadbent was forced into his one and only save of the match ten minutes later as he pushed away an effort from Luke Donaldson, while at the other end, Smart saw an effort blocked on the line as United secured a deserved victory
